Beachbody Coaching – is it for you?

When I became a coach in 2009 not one person that I knew had heard of Beachbody.  They did hear of P90x and Tony Horton but that was about it.  I have been a coach now for almost 6 years and have traded my 6 Figure Nurse Management Career for a Stay at Home 6 Figure business spending the time with my daughters that I was missing while working full time at a hospital.  Now I help others get fit and healthy and help them design their own lives and am working on retiring my successful Realtor husband from his career to enjoy our lives and help others do the same.  Here is a News piece that was done recently that sums up EXACTLY what coaching is all about.

Jamie Eason’s Yummy Turkey Meatloaf Muffins | 21 Day Fix Friendly

Turkey Muffins
Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground turkey or chicken
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • /12 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp dried yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp chipotle pepper spice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 celery stalks finely chopped

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Spray muffin pan with olive or canola oil.
  • Mix all your ingredients together in one large bowl.
  • Roll the mixture into balls and place in muffin tin.  Muffins should be about the size of raquet balls.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Makes 12 muffins.

30 Day Challenge Group Easy Fish Tacos

Challenge Group Fish Tacos

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz of tilapia
  • 1 tbsp of cumin
  • 1 tbsp of chili powder
  • 4 whole grain tortillas or I used whole grain corn tortillas for the crunch
  • 1/2 c grated cucumber
  • 1/2 c grated carrots
  • 1/2 c shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 c chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup non fat greek yogurt (costco kirkland brand)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • Chili powder to taste
Directions:
  • Rub fish with cumin and chili powder
  • Heat pan to medium and spray with cooking spray.
  • While fish is cooking grate cucumber, carrots, cabbage and cilantro
  • Break fish into pieces and divide into tacos
  • Mix some chili powder with greek yogurt and lime juice and spread on top of fish
  • Top with the grated veggies

Week 1 Challenge Group Meal Plan and Preparation

My new Challenge Group begins this week.  The most exciting thing about the first week is that it is a Prep Week.  It’s one thing to have your workout program, your Shakeology and have been added to a support group, but you are probably looking at your stuff going “Ok where do I start?”  After running groups for years I have discovered that some need a specific plan or they will fail and others just need to be kept in the lanes with simple guidelines.  My goal for every group is to be able to assist each type of person.  So, here is some insight into what Day 2 and Day 3 Looks like in my group.

I like to prep them for success before taking that DIVE into committing to working out, eating right and supporting each other.
